Asus launching fresh P4T 533 rev?

ASUSTEK, possibly the biggest motherboard firm on the planet, and perhaps the cosmos, unless there are parallel universes where motherboards also sprout, appears to be offering a revision to problems that it's had with the original P4T533.

Not that it tells Her Majesty's Press of course. We're the last to know.

That, at least, appears to be the message on the independent AsusBoards.com forum, and where the thread starts right here.

But despite emailing Asus about this and a little problem it appears to have with a board called P4S8X, we have received no word back from the mobo maker.

There are now threads on this appearing all over the World Wide Web including at this address, this place, and this address as well.

We presume someone at Asus PR will get back to us once the giant firm figures out what its line is, or might be. We wonder if Asus has ever heard the term "PR disaster"? µ
