Dell screws own NDA on Vostro PCs

SME range breaks wind
Tue Jul 10 2007, 17:15
DELL TODAY HELD a UK press conference to make a world-wide announcement, all to be mirrored in the USA later with Michael Dell himself.

This was all due to be embargoed and NDA'd up to the hilt until 17:10 GMT - only the Dell folk went and broke it themselves.

All was to hush hush around the firm's brand spanking new Vostro range of SME computers and services. But one key pin in Mikey's search for recovery.

But the firm went and released all these details on its website, leaving some hard-working journos scratching their heads as to why they signed anything at all or should ever again.

Confusion was rife inside Dell as to why this happened, more confusion was rife as to whether those signed NDAs were in still in place or not - we think not.

You can sneak a preview of the still-secret new range here. µ
