AMD strikes deal over DDR3 memory

SIMPLETECH and AMD will team up to design specs for DDR3 memory, said a report in EE Times.

The specs are part of a broader push by JEDEC, the industry's memory standard setting body.

Testing of DDR3 modules starts next year with production in 2008, said EE Times . µ
