LED scarf colour coordinates with suit

Strike a light gov, strike me pink

BOFFINS at a Japanese university have made a scarf that will match the other kit you're wearing, nikkei.net said.

The scarf is woven using optical fibres, and has a sensor to figure out the colour of the clothes you're wearing.

The thing triggers LEDs which then illuminate the scarf accordingly.

Presumably if you're wearing a black suit the thing doesn't light up at all. Nikkei.net said that the boffins at Keio University have also designed a shirt which will change colour depending on body temperature. µ
