MI6 recruits on Facebook
SPYING FOR MI6 requires a First degree at Oxbridge and having contacts in all the right places, right?
Apparently not... all you need to do is sign on to your Facebook account.
That’s right, in an attempt to recruit the next generation of spies, MI6 is dropping the old school tie selection methods in favour of looking for Joe average spies from a variety of backgrounds.
MI6 says it wants its officers to "reflect the society" it serves.
Two years ago you would only have been invited to join the spy community if you were nose deep in an astrophysics book at Oxford University, now in amongst all the pokes and pictures you could be asked to join a spying organisation.
A spokeswoman from MI6 says that recent Facebook adverts have been a success and it has received a good response.
Adverts for this opportunity come in the form of pop-ups, if you’ve been to University one would read, "Graduates of all ages can develop long-term careers as operational officers, collecting and analysing global intelligence."
Other groups targeted include those bored in their job and those who want an influential place in global history.
Best of all, you don't need and Aston Martin, A Walther PPK, or a skimpy little pair of swimming trunks and washboard abs. µ

When you look into the works of the MI6 you realise the state of affairs, how we want to propagate Freedom & Democracy to the world but choosing our own version where the Goal posts are continuously changing to suit what we want. What double standards we have. As for Mr Josh`s comment re: History of Palestine- Josh maybe you are the one who needs to study the History of Palestine and how the land was stolen and the population of some what 700, 000 to 900,000 became refugees how total villages were destroyed and this continues today while the world stands by. Oh and guess who caused that problem Yes we the British maybe you need to read about the Balfour Declaration.
I quite like the idea really. I mean the next generation of terrorists are going to be among our children in college/university, so aiming at young average people who fit in well is a great idea!

Maybe you need to actually read about the history and how the war over there started? The sentence "Marines Ambushed By Crazy Muslims " was sarcasm. That's the way the US and UK media likes to portrait their imaginary enemy. I believe this whole war on terror is a joke. The "Coalition of the Willing" is quick to paint the Muslim people as terrorists or bad but don't take a second to look into the mirror. I have a great respect for all religions including Muslims. What's happening in Palestine is wrong and I hope Americans can see through these Zionist media deception. It's nothing short of genocide while the Israeli people live in comfort and relative safety. Plowing peoples homes is more that just heartless. Erasing people, there homes, parks, beaches and religious memorials is the worst thing you can do.

In order to win against these sorts of people you need a different kind of person ... the old school network is probably yeilding no real results or they wouldn't be looking afar. A blended approach is probably what they are looking for.

Well the way I see it is they want average Joe's in MI6 because the higher educated are more likely to have a moral conundrum along the way. Like when they ask you to kill British citizens in a false flag operation, they don't want you to suddenly stand up for what's right. They want semi-smart easily intimidated people to do their dirty work. Also when the time comes they can put a bullet in the back of your head and no one will care. No one will miss a high school drop out but an Oxford graduate? Yeah people notice when they go missing.

The British MI6 and US CIA are two of the most evil, corrupt and lawless organizations on earth. Oh don't forget the Israeli Mossad, they're outright Satanic. They were suspected of sabotaging US tanks in Iraq to stir up the pot and hopefully bring reprisals to the "Terrorists".
