CoolIT launches old lamps for new ones

EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE, you are bound to see the Old Lamps for New phenomenon from car manufacturers, but others are also following suit. In the world of IT, we haven't seen much of recycling actions – beside cellphone manufacturers.

I remember several actions from Nokia and Sony Ericsson, but the world of computers hasn't seen much of these actions. The only one I can remember was a trade-up program from Nvidia in terms of GeForce 6800 and eVGA's StepUp programme.

Now, Cool IT is introducing its own version of recycling, with a 30% discount on their stuff if you trade any of older cooling setups. Discount is available immediately upon purchase of new setup, only thing needed is to contact Barry Reicker over at CoolIT (just click on a l'inq if you're interested).

Having a 30 per cent discount on Boreas MTEC cooling case is a pretty nifty discount, so you might want to reconsider this one. µ
