PESKY RESEARCHERS planning to annoy gamers worldwide are toying with an idea to design a videogame which will know the player's move around two seconds before it's made.

Boffins at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in Hungary are planning to use measurements of a players' skin conductance to keep the computer AI one step ahead of the player. While seemingly a fun project, the research into biofeedback signals analysis could prove to be beneficial to more useful real life applications.

Scientists Laszlo Laufer and Bottyan Nemeth had human labrats test out the game, recording measurements of heart rates, brain activity and skin conductance. The skin conductance research itself though was enough to predict a move two seconds in advance, reports Physorg.

The game, titled YetiSports part 8: JungleSwing can be played at yetisports.org, although obviously you'll need your very own research department to be frustrated by biofeedback sensors as it is. ยต
