Wednesday, 21 February 2007, 07:24

HP profit jumped 26 per cent as the company benefited from higher sales of laptop computers, printers and printing supplies during the holidays.

Shaw Wu, an analyst with American Technology Research said that HP was beating up Dell and there was room for them to gain even more share. He added that from Dell's perspective that could be very scary.
