THANKS TO HardOCP for pointing to this Tec Channel piece with photographs of the AMD Thoroughbreds that are up-and-a-coming. You can find the link to the snaps here.

There's a big long list of reviews of the Athlon XP2100+ over there at AMD Zone. We saw one at CeBIT - it's green. There's also a link there to the AMD slides shown at CeBIT which you can find here as a PDF.

And still on the CeBIT theme, which carries on for quite a while, Tobitech DE has put up their coverage and some pix of what they spotted.

OC Tools has posted a review of Chaintech's GeForce4 MX440 - the special edition.

There's more Chaintech stuff over at Technoyard - thanks to Hexus Net for the link.

The Attorney General of Ohio is putting his oar into the Best Buy Visiontek cancellation. Steve at is keeping an eye on the developments. There's a letter from the Attorney General up on the website. Maybe Best Buy had best swallow the bitter pill before it gets ever so worse, just like Kodak had to do.

At VR-Zone, there's a piece looking at the SIS 645DX chipset and you can read all about it here.

There's a fine piece of work over at Accelenation all about seven years of graphics. Sheesh - anyone else old enough to remember CGA and the Hercules cards that actually made your screen look a bit like it should in the 80s?

One we missed earlier. Ace's Hardware says here that Sun has introduced its XVR-1000, and that's with a touch of MAJC.

Here's some Anandtech coverage of the Nforce 620-D and DDR 400.

Do you think the move was justified?
