2007 BRINGS a new Core 2 Duo Conroe based CPU. Intel decided to increase the FSB to 1333 and to reintroduce three new parts but in Q3 2007 only.

The slowest one called E6650 will have a 1333FSB and 4MB of cache. The CPU is based on the same old Conroe core and has two cores and works with two threads. The slowest one works at 2.33GHz. The second one caleed E6750 will work at 2.66GHz with the FBS 1333 while the fastest ends up at 3GHz with the same 1333 FSB. Motherboards with support for 1333 are already out there.

You can hold your breath as these CPUs are all scheduled for Q3 2007 and will probably match the launch time of the real FSB 1333 chipsets such as the high end one called X38 scheduled for the same time. µ
