USERS OF Microsoft application software and operating systems will be offered a number of security fixes next week that will fix severe holes in systems.

Ten critical holes for Windows will be patched and some of these are dubbed "critical", while users of Office will need to download another two patches, also labelled critical.

In addition, there will be non security patches to download so expect to have to re-start your machines on August 9th. Microsoft's note about the fixes is here. µ
