Atom to cost 44 bucks - report

Cheap chips
Thursday, 20 March 2008, 09:08

INTEL'S WEE Atom chip will only cost $44, according to Digitimes.

Cheap enough to bung in a wee PC and get change from $100 you'd imagine.

Digitimes might be right. Yesterday, it said Dell was "reportedly" getting back in to the handheld business. The only place that had reported it, however, was Digitimes.

But that was yesterday. Now it's everywhere. ยต
