Terry Shannon gets Wikipedia reprieve

But for goodness sake, no anecdotes

THE WIKIPEDIA entry on the late and great Terry Shannon has avoided being deleted, in a victory for common sense, judgement and history.

We reported yesterday that Shannon, who died two years ago, faced oblivion because his entry on the 'pedia was way too anecdotal.
