ONEAC "applauds" competitor for UPS recall

Press Release of the Week Surprising offers of our time
Mon Jan 20 2003, 16:54
UPS FIRM ONEAC - which you might know better as Chloride - has decided to go all public spirited and has applauded its competitor APC for recalling two defective UPSes last week.

Obviously, and no doubt as a public service, ONEAC repeats the APC warning in full. Disinterested VP of sales and marketing, Lou Pace, calls on all of us to applaud APC for its announcement.

And just in case you have a mission critical application, and can't wait for an APC replacement to ship in a week's time in North America, Lou tells us his company is offering immediate overnight delivery of its own replacements and even has special pricing for its UPSes.

A more generous offer we've hardly seen.

ONEAC.

Thank goodness the whole industry is pulling together, as usual. µ
