Via releases pico-ITX mobo

CHIP FIRM Via said it has released what it claims is the world's smalled X86 mobo, the Pico-ITX.

The board uses the 1GHz Via C7 CPU and will support up to 1GB of DDR2-533 memory, using SO-DIMMs. The 10 layer board also includes Unichrome Pro II 3D and 2D graphics.

Max power for CPU and chipset are 9W and 3.5W respectively. The board is being made available now for developers and through distribution at the end of May. µ
