BBC "afflicted by DRM disease"

Thought for the day. Platform agnosticism criticised

THE BBC has come under attack for its plans to put heaps of content on line and for not making its software client the iPlayer compatible with Macs.

A string of sometimes Anglo-Saxon rich comments are here on The Devil's Kitchen , with Auntie Beeb suffering from the effect of various slings, arrows and barbs.

The BBC is accused of suffering from the Memorandum of Understanding it signed with Microsoft, with one of the terms being that it protect content using the Vole's DRM.

The BBC has said its first priority is to support people with Macs too. What about Linux? On that the site appears to be silent. µ
