Sun ships AMD dual core server

BIG TIN firm Sun Microsystems has started shipping a dual core Opteron server.

According to Red Nova, the V40Z Sun Fire box is a four socket eight way box.

Sun will start using dual core Opterons across its entire line, the story, here, says. µ
