HW Roundup World stops for Chip and Graphzilla
Mon Oct 29 2007, 20:05

LAST MONDAY OF October 007 was marked with two products: Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 and Nvidia GeForce 8800GT. First one is no other than Yorkfield, a 45nm dual-die processor (two Wolfdales).

Bear in mind this product will hit retail on November 12th, today was only a performance day or something to steal Nvidia's headlines. Which is a shame, because this processor deserved a day on its own.

Reviews of processor can be found on Boot Daily, HardOCP, Legit Reviews, Madshrimps and many more.

At the same time, if you want to see more $249 goodness in the form of 8800GT, dubbed "David", you can check the reviews from Guru3D, Hardware Canucks, HardOCP, Legit Reviews, Tech-Report and many more...

If you're a Spanish-speaker, you will appreciate the GeForce 8800GT review from Chile Hardware. If not, there is always magic of Google.

Luckily, Tagan's latest product isn't a necessity, unless you want to have absolute monster of a computer. Tagan's 1.3 kW power supply got reviewed over at BigBruin.

ZEROtherm Nirvana NV120 got reviewed over at Hardware Logic – this is yet another cooler with now traditional heatpipe design. It does its job and that's about that.

Virtual-Hideout reviewed new revision of Logitech G15 Keyboard, dubbed G15 Gen2.

And if you're looking in what to put this latest 45nm processor from Intel, Hardware Secrets took a look on Asus P5E3 Deluxe. If you want to test some German, or just look at the table with results, Hardware-Mag.de published a review of X38 chipset - GigaByte X38-DQ6.

Last motherboard review comes from InsideHW, Biostar TP35D3-A7, a P35 based DDR3 motherboard.

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
