HIS Radeon X1900 cools to ten below

WE WROTE about this card at Cebit time, and you can check the details here. It is the only air-cooled card that can cool your R580 based Radeon X1900XTX roughly 10 celsius below the Radeon stock cooler.

When we wrote the first story up, the HIS X1900 IceQ 3 was one of three available prototypes. Now it is ready for production.

We hear that HIS has started sampling the cards and that you should be able to buy one by the end of the April. HIS wil have two cards in its range, the HIS X1900XTX IceQ 3 Dual DL-DVI + VIVO 512MB GDDR3 PCIe and HIS X1900XT IceQ 3 Dual DL-DVI + VIVO 512MB GDDR3 PCIe.

The suggested retail price for HIS ICeQ X1900XTX is $529 while you should pay $449 for the X1900XT. The cards will resurface at Newegg and Monarchcomputer. You can check here how the card looks like. µ
