AMD ships 65 nanometre notebook chips

CHIP FIRM AMD said it is now shipping Turion 64 X2 dual core processors using 65 nanometre technology.

It said that notebooks using the chips will be available "later this quarter" from computer vendors.

According to AMD, machines using the M690 chipset will let 65 nano notebooks run for five hours. µ
