Intel Tulsa makes an HP appearance

16MB of L3 cache
Mon Aug 07 2006, 06:51
IT LOOKS like HP may be heralding the arrival of the Intel "Tulsa" processor.

We reported here that Intel chatted to its OEMs and said put the baby out in Q3 rather than Q4.

Its chief aim to fame will be that it will support 16MB of level three cache.

This could be Mr Tulsa, although HP doesn't go into elaborate details about the processor itself. µ
