WE'VE JUST SEEN exclusive pictures of Epox' brand new barebone system that will be showcased in Taiwan next week.

Epox called it Mini Me because of Doctor Evil's mini clone from the Austin Powers movie. Epox was going to call it the Ebox. Geddit?!?

The full name of the product is the eX5 Mini Me and this barebones system will use a proprietary i865G based board with overclocking features. Epox will also implement Music On now - a feature that will let you play your CD's and MP3s with booting Operating system.

A nice blue LCD in front of the unit will provides a full access to playlist, alarm clock settings, and USDM, Magic Screen, and Magic Flash features.

3G tek is the name of cooling solution for this system and for which Epox claims very low noise. It did this using a copper heat sink, a silent "smart" fan and "intelligent" ducting to maintain a low system and CPU.

The front of the unit has a six way card reader and it also features SATA x 2, 2 x ATA100, IEEE1394, Intel Extreme Graphics 2 and an AGP 8x slot, 1 x PCI 2.2 slot, and ALC655 6 channel audio. The system comes with a 200W PSU. Nforce 2 and KT400 units will be introduced later, we're given to understand. µ
