Everywhere Girl receives brief Wiki resurrection, before being deleted again

The ups and downs of an interweb icon
Thursday, 18 January 2007, 13:10
THE EVERYWHERE GIRL was briefly sighted on Wikipedia for a couple of days this week.

Verily, we spluttered into our INQUIRER standard-issue coffee on finding the entry below posted on the venerable tome's pixel-pages.

But no sooner had we pointed to it in our popular pic of the day slot, than the INQUIRER'S favourite face was obliterated once again from the web's self-appointed journal of record.

The virtual book-burning is explained in a brief, note stating that the reason for the deletion is: "constant recreation by webzine "The Inquirer" [edit=sysop:move=sysop])".

This is a charge we strenuously deny. We have rattled various wiki-cages to see if we can flush out some parrots. ยต
