Mobile enable your blog with plug-in

COO! A WAY to make money out of mobile surfers from your blog. Developer Andy Moore has teamed up with Admob to release a plug-in that works with the popular Wordpress blogging software.

Andy Moore is the brains behind Web2txt and claims he is actually the first developer to get official accreditation as a .mobi certified developer.

Admob modestly claims to be the world's largest mobile advertising marketplace. And if mobile surfers click on a ad placed on your blog then you stand a good chance of actually earning some wonga.

The plug-in is interesting in another way because it effectively enables you to publish to your blog from a mobile phone, too. So if the news is time critical it may well be worth waiting the time it takes to upload via GPRS, for example.

The good news is not only is the plug-in free, it has already been beta tester by at least 150 bloggers.

Given that 2007 is the year everyone tries to get into mobile advertising, this could well be the best way to get your foot in the door. µ
