Gongs dished out at Austrian knees up

Vendor met retailer, the guy that brings in the money, and discussed upcoming possibilities. The event closed up with a gala dinner where the organiser gave away some prizes to the winners.

Tucano, an Italian designer that makes cases, bags and Ipod/PSP cases,was a suprise winner of two of four awards for best board-room presentation and best ninety-nine second presentation. The vendors were given ninety-nine seconds to convince a retail audience to buy its products and the Tucano guys were outstanding.

Pinnacle systems got a prize for innovation with its PCTV Hybrid ProStick. The best product design went to Freecom for its data card.

Benq was judged best vendor overall, as voted by the retailers.
