CYBERSCAN TECHNOLOGY, which trades as Cyberview, has started a pilot project to provide IVTs (Interactive Videolottery Terminals) in the Slovak Republic.

The pilot is being held in conjunction with Gaver, which is a subsidiary of Slov-Matic. The six-month pilot project began in late July and invloves IVT terminals installed in six shops operated by Gaver.

The IVTs are linked to a secure central server in Bratislava. The Slovak Republic tested Ministry of Finance approved the system prior to installation.

Each IVT terminal offers players a selection of games plus the possibility for downloading additional games is scheduled to be added during the pilot.

Under the agreement, Cyberscan is providing the whole shebang including the central server-based system and terminals, plus a private communication network. µ
