Google's Moon landing day dawns

The beagle has landed

IT'S BEEN 36 YEARS to the day since the first manned Moon landing, and to honour the historical date Google has posted some NASA imagery to Google Maps.

Simply go to Google.com and click on the banner to get to the lunar map. The map has flagged down all of the manned landing spots as well as the date that they happened and who was involved.

Of course, if you'd prefer to look at something just a tad more local, there's always Earth.
