Dual Apple G5 and Opterons compared

Apples and Pairs, geddit!?!

A WEB SITE has filed a report comparing a dual 2GHz Opteron machine to a dual Apple Mac G5.

The results show that the Mac G5 performs well compared to the Opteron, but there are some differences that can be accounted for by the lack of 64-bit operating systems.

As well as the different benchmarks, the site also compares the prices of the two different systems.
