Nvidia's fan goes way beyond superlatives

Lucid. In the sky. With diamonds

WE WOULD never have heard of Nvidia's latest cooling "solution" if it wasn't for Ryszard, the Aberdonian correspondent of Hexus.net, who set one off a-buzzing at Computex in Old Taipei last week.

We were so enamoured with the fan that we asked where we could buy one. And he said: "Well, as a matter of fact, I have two."

He offered to give the fan away but we knew he was an Aberdonian and so we gave him hard cash for the item.

We do hope he declares the paltry cash dividend to the Taiwanese procurator fiscal.

Only a true aficionado of the summer of love in Aberdeen, circa 1358, can appreciate what it's like in Old Taipei to gaze into the whirling LEDs and to imagine what an Nvidia-Apple box will look like.

Go here for the sound, and for the vision. Because, as we all know, Nvidia Nsists....

We're grateful for the Roxio technology which allowed us to convert the .Apple to the .Intel format. ยต
