AMD commits to Blizzard bundle

AMD SAID it has signed a deal with Blizzard Entertainment Inc. to bundle Blizzard games with ATI Radeon graphics cards.

World of Warcraft maker Blizzard said delivering "a polished game experience is one of our top priorities".

Blizzard bloke Paul Sams, said, "Our collaboration with AMD is especially important to us because it provides us with early access to some of the latest graphics technology."

Blizzard is owned by Vivendi SA. The financial erms of the deal were not disclosed. µ

True say

I believe 'rofl' has hit the nail on its proverbial cranium.. blizzard has realised that NV loves its high end while ATI concentrates more on low/mid end where the dough is. since most ( read : all ) blizzard games cater to a low HW audience this suits them perfect.

Since when did blizzard need, or indeed use, "the latest graphics technology"?
