AMD pushes prizes for PIBS

Win a vehicle to help your business
Wed Jan 29 2003, 16:38
CHIP MAKER AMD has written to its resellers saying that if they buy 10 or more "processors in a box" (PIBS), they have the chance to win a 2002 Isuzu NPR 14' delivery vehicle.

But you have to buy your PIBS through one of AMD's authorised distributors, as the contest rules explain, here.

And the firm is also running a joint promotion with Nvidia, Kingston Technology and MSI called "The Bridge to Success" - that wins you a Pioneer 43-inch HDTV screen, Nvidia's Nforce 2 Home Entertainment PC - we didn't know Nvidia made a PC - and ValueRAM.

And the last bundle AMD is offering to its North American resellers is called "Go Configure" (geddit?1?) which lets you win an XP Athlon for every ten PIBs you buy on one invoice.

If you've got any questions you just go to Mr Ask AMD [Is this Hector Ruiz? Ed.] and you can also chat to Mr AMD about "spreading the word" about "AMD ME". µ
