Lab claims Opteron greener than Xeon

INDEPENDENT lab Neal Nelson & Associates has published a white paper which claims that AMD's Opteron doesn't eat as much juice as an Intel Xeon Woodcrest server.

The results, the white paper claims, show there's a measurable reduction of power in both idle state and when the servers are being stressed out.
