Boffins spread human misery to mice

A BRITISH BOFFIN has claimed a breakthrough by spreading the common cold to the mice family. [Why not a Vole? Ed.]

A man from Imperial College called Sebastian Johnston told The Times that “creating” a mouse that can catch a cold “opens doors to new asthma treatments”.

Perhaps mice that have ears growing out of their back should listen carefully for boffins seeking to inflict more miseries on them.

At least the “breakthrough” will open up opportunities for the makers of paper tissues. µ

Do they have?

Err... do they have a backup plan in case one of those mice runs away and start breeding?
