Sony confirms bigger hard-drive for PS3

Will not say how big
Tuesday, 17 April 2007, 17:03
CONSOLE MAKER Sony is brooding on changing the specs of its PS3 games console.

According to Reuters one of the things that is certainly going to be upgraded is the hard-drive which at 60GB is considered too small for heavy users.

Sony Computer Entertainment spokesman Satoshi Fukuoka would not say how big the drive was going to be, but it is only one of the changes he is considering.

Core components and functions such as the Cell, RSX, Blu-ray drive and network capability will stay the same but the sky was the limit on other changes, he said. ยต
