OCZ DDR2 1000MHz memory available at Newegg

If Newegg lists it, Newegg has it
Mon Apr 24 2006, 13:02
OUR STORY mentioning a reader complaining that he could't buy OCZ memory listed at newegg had a Newegg representative reaching for the phone.

Our Newegg friend pointed out that the company ships everything that it has listed, and honours its rules and obligations. If it states that you will get it in three days and that the product is in the stock it will get to you withing three days, as simple as beans.

When newegg lists it, newegg has it, he said.

We checked the site this morning and learned that you can go there and buy a retail OCZ Platinum 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model OCZ2P10002GK - retail, but it will cost you saucy $489.99.

We wrote about Corsairs DDR 2 1066MHz memory but the company ships 2x512 MB at this time. You can read it and find it here but at this same time it will be significantly cheaper than 2GB of OCZ memory - makes sense, right?

You can buy this memory at this link. µ
