Google leaves Yahoo to face Vole attack alone

AN ARTICLE in the Wall Street Journal suggests that Google isn’t going to team up with Yahoo and instead will step aside to let Microsoft continue its rapacious attack.

Quoting “people familiar with the matter”, the Journal (subscription required) said that while Google wouldn’t rule out getting into bed with Yahoo, it doesn’t want to face authorities who might want to explore the antitrust ramifications of such a deal.

Which leaves Yahoo vulnerable to a hostile takeover by swarms of Redmond volistas. µ
