AMD updates Eurodealers

CHIP COMPANY AMD has just sent its European reseller news of an update to its motherboards and recommended thermal solutions.

Here's the memo:

In our ongoing effort to keep you informed of the latest recommended infrastructure components, please find attached the following updates for your reseller folder:

1) AMD Recommended Motherboards - to ensure reliable operation, the AMD Athlon[TM] and AMD Duron[TM] processors should be used in conjunction with one of these recommended motherboards.

2) AMD Recommended Thermal Solutions - maintaining the proper thermal environment is key to reliable, long-term system operation.

WARNING: Any attempt to operate the AMD Athlon processor or AMD Duron processor without a suitable cooling solution will result in permanent damage to the processor and potentially other components within the system.
