Wednesday, 22 August 2007, 11:41
A TOTAL OF 11 "Penryn" Intel processors using the 45 nanometre will be available for the notebook market in Q1 of next year.

According to Digitimes, while the clock speeds won't be that stunning, some of them will sport 6MB caches and some 3MB caches.

Penryn chips will represent 53 per cent of Intel notebook shipments in Q2 2008, including three Montevina CPUs.

Merom chips are on their way out, the wire said. ยต
