INQUIRER launches ad-free subscription site

Say goodbye to flash forever
Wednesday, 14 May 2003, 13:06
WHEN WE CANVASSED readers last year about offering a site without adverts, we had a very positive response.

And now we're pleased to say that that the idea has become a reality.

The ad free site is available now and will cost you as an introductory offer, $5 a month or $50 for a year. While we can't refund a portion of a one month subscription, we can offer refunds for longer subscription periods.

What do you get for your money?

You'll get a completely ad-free site with a slightly different layout and which is also PDA available.

You also have the ability to support the INQUIRER as a public service, and the ad-free site will generate some much needed revenue for us to expand the INQUIRER even more in the future.

The system is automatic, with payments being handled by Worldpay. We will also be able to cater for corporate accounts or for site licences, on request.

There's a copy of terms and conditions and also our privacy statement available for inspection at the adfree site.

Finally, we'd like to thank all our readers, and that matter our advertisers, for supporting the INQUIRER since its inception two years ago, and hope you'll continue to support us, whether you choose to read our sites with the ads or without.
