AMD's 4x4 platformance slated

IT IS ALL about platformance, you can figure out for yourself which two words give you the new term. AMD knows that is what 4x4 platformance is all about.

This stuff is for people who want more, not only for gamers. It won't be much faster than the Current FX62 in games but once you start a game, and do the video decoding the 4x4 will give you platformance. The faster clocked FX 74 will end up slightly faster in games as it is clocked the whole 200MHz faster.

It will clearly render an image twice as fast as any dual core AMD CPU but for any other task you will have to do a heavy multitasking to convince it to work.

Some lads with the system confirmed that they are happy with the performance but the systems might end up quite expensive. Nvidia made a chipset and the boards are redesigned as servers so they won't be cheap.
