Spousal peace from KWorld
Tuesday, 7 November 2006, 15:16
THE STREETS OF Old Taipei were all abuzz today after KWorld announced the release of its Dual Hybrid TV Tuner Card.

The creatively titled DVB-T PE310, has all been packed off to Blighty and should be in the shops any day now.

The card features a PCI Express with a scalable Input/Output serial bus technology. The PCI Express ×1 lanes can manage a delivery transfer rate for a total of 500 MB/ps, which is about four times faster than the rate of original PCI.

According to the KWorld press release this interface "definitely satisfies masterful users", which is nice.

As for the telly content, the DVB-T PE310, users can use dual analog TV or dual digital or one digital plus one analog TV channels at the same time.

We are usefully informed that the card means that it will be possible to watch a football game while your partner watches a soup opera. µ
