RIAA dumps Windows for Linux

But breaks it
Mon Jun 18 2007, 12:48
A SLASHDOTTER noticed that pirate hunters at the RIAA had attempted to shift their web site onto a Linux server.

The move away from Win2003 to Apache 2.2.3 on Red Hat, might have been inspired by security fears, but has so far failed to yield anything at all.

The site has been down for hours and is currently showing the following notice: 'temporarily under construction'.

We're sure the situation will soon be resolved and one of the Internet's favourite sites will soon be back open for business. µ
