Chipzilla director Jane Shaw earned more than $10.5 million in a single day by selling shares bought through the company's stock option scheme, reports the San Jose Mercury.

On July 23rd, she bought 544,000 Intel shares at option prices ranging from $3.16 to $6.42, and immediately sold 424,000 of them for $30 each netting a cool $10,568,460. The 148,275 shares she still holds are valued at $4.5 million.

The Inquirer says: Jane, if you'd like to invest some of the cash, you know where we are.

Shaw, 62, has been a director of Intel since 1993 and is Chairman of the company's Compensation Committee. She is also Chairman and CEO of AeroGen, Inc., a company specialising in controlled delivery of drugs to the lungs.
