Mobile phones safe for brains

Another brown study
Wednesday, 23 February 2005, 09:39
A FINNISH study has just given the thumbs-up to mobile phone use saying that the amount of radiation they give off is well below agreed limits.

Finland's Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK) looked at phones made by Nokia, Motorola and Samsung and gave them a clean bill of health.

All the phones showed a specific absorption rate which measures the amount of heat trapped by a phone user's head, well below the 2 watts per kilogram level agreed on in Europe.

Apparently brain tissue is not warmed significantly by phone radiation so all is well. There is nothing worse than a warm brain… it should either be chilled or served very hot in a white wine sauce.

More food for the mind here. ยต
