MSI capacitor class action page up
Boards will be repaired

MOTHERBOARD GIANT MSI denies allegations that it sold products with dud capacitors but nevertheless a class
action claim page is up and running.
The claims page, which covers retail boards made between 1999 and May 2002, does not cover boards in PCs made by Dell, LG, Gateway, Samsung or IBM.
The proposed settlement is for class action members to have their boards repaired or replaced by MSI, and MSI will guarantee the boards for 90 days after they're fixed.
Class action members who incur direct expenses will get $100 per board if the claims are reasonable.
