T-BREAK EXPLORES the AMD Athlon FX62 processor which has been pretty much flying under the radar for some reason. It is a 2.8GHz Dual Core CPU with 2MB L2 cache and based on a 90nm Windsor core. It does support DDR2-800 modules and more. It was overclocked to only 3GHz but will this be enough to beat the Core2 CPU from Intel.

Tweaktown rushes to review the Palit Geforce 7900GT Sonic 512MB memory in SLI mode. Palit now encompasses Gainward - once famouse brand, as well as Xpertvision. The card reviewed is an overclocked model and comes with a great game bundle and superb performance. The 7900GT is competitive with the X1900GT. Palit video cards however are often not readily available, which is a big let down.

OCWorkbench tests the Asrock AM2XLI-eSATA2 motherboard, built on the ULi M1697 chipset. The board comes with two PCI x16 slots, supports eSATA2 ports, untied overclocking, HDMI ready, eight P/S ATA ports, 7.1 HD Audio ready. Only thing that is not there is a GbE LAN. The board is compared with K8T890, RD580 and nForce 590 SLI models.

3DXtreme.net reports on the ZBoard Fang Gamepad. That particular pad is ambidextrous - a very good thing for the market, has a compact design, allows you to place simultaneous keystrokes and is compatible with over 100 PC games. The gamepad is cheap and is small enough to fit in your bag when you go to the LAN party. Now, there's a period of adaptation but your gameplay should improve significantly after that.

Bigbruin checks the Thermaltake Aguila mid tower ATX case. It has a large side window and a nice design, well thought for a good airflow and cooling. The VD1000SWA is BTX compatible and has two 120mm fans and supports even liquid cooling systems. Made up of aluminium, with seven expansion slots and 11 drive bays, just be aware that it is not totally tool less and that it is slightly expensive.

Want to make your drive a stealth one? Err, not that it will become invisible but rather blend easy with your chassis. Hardwarelogic provides us with a step by step guide on how to make your hard disk aesthetically correct. You will have to use a cutting tool, a spare bay cover, something to eject the drive and some double sided tape. Lots of photos and information. Problem is that you don't have any means of opening the drive except by eject. µ

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
