THOSE VERBOSE Techreporters put AMD's new Athlon 64 3000+ up against "11 of its closest competitors". Betcha didn't think it had 11 competitors. The list begins here.

The Madshrimps have a look at Chaintech's 9CJS ZENITH, their "flagship" P4 Canterwood motherboard: "an excellent base for any performance P4 system," they reckon, over here.

They've also got a FX5900XT-powered videocard from Club3D here.

Adrian over at Rojak's Pot has been confused by Futuremark's attempts to get people to use its "approved" Nvidia drivers when running 3DMark03. He too was asked to down some pages because he used the unapproved variety. He pasted up the correspondence here.

Beyond 3D has had a Sapphire Radeon 9600 XT in its test box, over here.

The Neoseeker bags about in a midtower box form Thermaltake - the Xaser III Skull. Impressed he is too. Here.

Tom's gang has been fiddling with some hard drives. Their look at the Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 and Western Digital WD740 Raptor starts here.

Wheely rodents are back at OCIA with their look at the Xenix Optical Wheel Mouse. This wee pointy thing has its own fan to keep the palms of your hand cool while gaming or, um, porning. Whatever next?

Gundeep finds the Zippy WK-720 Keyboard as soft and squishy as a laptop one. His overlong analysis starts here.

Dan's got a dose he says, over here. Must be his animal magnetism.

OCAU has a quick review of Connectland's Acrylic Blue LED Case Feet. Coo!

Wibbles appreciated. ยต
