WE'RE TOLD that Acer's Ferrari 4000, which uses the AMD Turion 64 processor, will soon be on sale, and already the specs have started appearing all over the wild woolly web.

We understand from AMD that this machine will use the souped up transistors and the C3 deeper sleep state the firm was talking about only last week.

Specs for this machine include a 1680x1050 res 15.4-inch TFT screen, ATI Mobility Radeon X700 with 128MB, and 1GB of DDR 333 memory as standard.

What's the point of more words - the specification can be found here. µ
