Diamond has 1GB 2900XTs

IF YOU NEEDED any more official confirmation about the upcoming 1GB 2900XT, well here you go.

Some kind soul slipped us this Diamond press release two days early, and it confirms what we said earlier ( here and here).

It doesn't appear to be anything more than more memory on the 512M card, big speed increases will have to wait for the R650. In any case, there isn't a peep about this on Diamond's site, yet. µ
