Man killed daughter after she knocked his Xbox over
A BLOKE IN Philadelphia has been convicted of murdering his 17-month old daughter after she knocked his Xbox over.
Twenty-seven-year old Tyrone Spellman seems to have gone bonkers at daughter Alayiah after she pulled on the leads to his console, knocking it over.
The gamer then bashed the little mite to death, a court heard. He was said to have moved the body to make it look like an accident.
Spellman was nicked in September 2006 after an autopsy revealed the infant had suffered major blows to the head. The perp confessed to the crime within 24 hours, but originally told the police that Alayiah had fallen out of bed.
He then tried to pin the blame on his missus, but failed and was convicted of third-degree murder and child endangerment, yesterday. He faces up to 47 years in gaol. ยต

Read the frickin' article properly before commenting. It CLEARLY states a "17-month-old". How some of you are misreading that to say "17-year-old" is beyond me!
I feel sorry for the mother, the child, and their family. Unlike most comments here, the wiser knows acts like these do not come out of no where. Sometimes it takes a lot of neglected / ignored / untreated stress, past anger, etc. for someone to explode like that.
